No way, Tom. This morning I got in the car to drive us to get some coffee, and then on to work. I couldn't find the boy, so I called his name. He came sprinting - sprinting - from the back yard, binoculars in hand and cried, "I saw a bird I've never seen before!!!" This was not manufactured passion. It was real-live love of birds. And it's getting worse.
