Saturday
All was doom and gloom until I discovered that the packing peanuts included in our latest wedding present, through the magic of static, could be used to adorn the dog's heads. I'm pretty sure this form of entertainment will ward off any misery I suffer at having to stuff them into trash bags while they blow about and end up in the neightbors' yards in the future.

Hey, Cara...check to see if they're edible. Then you can just hose them down because they'll melt. Corn starch and all that...

already tried it eric...no dice..I guess Crate and Barrel aren't the eco-friendly type
You can call some number, though, to find a place to recycle your peanuts. I've gotten those Crate and Barrel boxes and they all come with a number to call on a yellow (or pink? or green?) sheet of paper. -C
I really don't understand how any company in the 21st Century isn't using corn starch peanuts.
Of course, two of my local dailies are still running Peanuts comic strips, so I guess some things change faster than others.
